They have just struck a new partnership with Meals on Wheels, providing presents for those who are isolated, living with disability, or in a frail state this December.
The aptly named 'Santa for a Senior' program caters to those who may be neglected during the Christmas period, spreading holiday cheer where it is needed most.
"It's been incredible, the support has really just been fantastic," library manager Shiron Kirman said.
"We've watched people come in every day and donate."
The 'Tree of Joy' featured in the centre of the library lobby has already been overwhelmed with gifts from kind-hearted MIA community members.
In the days leading up to Christmas, Griffith Meals on Wheels will collect the presents and deliver them to those in need.
"Absolutely anyone can donate," Ms Kirkman said.
"The library has put up the Christmas tree, now people can come in and donate their gift for a senior."
If you would like to take part in the Santa for a Senior program, you can place your gift under the tree located at Griffith City Library or at The Yambil Hub.
