It was a back and forth encounter in the men's top division when Griff Hotel Big Cash took on KX450F on Monday evening at Ted Scobie Oval.
KX450F was able to score the first try of the afternoon after getting over in the corner while Griff Hotel blew two chances to pull level.
It was a case of third time lucky with Jeremy Mau finding his way over the line to pull the sides level.
Jess Spencer restored the advantage for KX450F, but Isaiah Potts was able to make it 2-2 as Griff Hotel scored off the restart.
Griff Hotel took the lead for the first time in the game late in the first half with Moses Lolohea able to find the line, but Dean Schmetzer made sure the sides went into the break level with a try on the siren.
Schmetzer scored his second of the game not long after the break, but once again it was Griff Hotel who brought the scores back level with Potts getting over for his second of the afternoon.
Schmetzer turned to supplier for his side's fifth try of the afternoon as after breaking the line he was able send Lachlan Killalea, but Potts was able to complete his hat-trick and pull the sides level at 5-all.
The try trading nature of the game continued as Jack Whitehead got over before Potts scored his fourth with Mau scoring his second of the game but again their lead was short-lived as Dean Schmetzer got across for his third.
The Griff Hotel was finally able to break the shackles with Moses Lolohea finding his way over while Potts scored his fifth which pushed their side out to a 9-7 lead with little time remaining.
Spencer scored his second of the match to give KX450F a hope of pulling back level late in the game, but Brock Potts put those hopes to bed with a try on the hooter to wrap up a 10-8 win.
In the other men's game, Marchiori Construction maintained their position at the top of the table with an 8-4 win over Suman's Engineering.
In the women's top division, Sisters were able to take an 11-try win against S.J.R Industries with a scoreline of 16-5.
