Police say there is a possibility the same people are responsible for a spree of business break and enters as well as the Griffith City Cinema ram-raid.
It comes after businesses across Griffith were broken into on a Saturday night and early Sunday morning spree.
CCTV footage captured two people failing to get through the doors at 1.45am on Sunday morning, before giving up, getting into a car and reversing through the front doors of the cinema building.
Once in, they forced their way into the offices and kitchen, stealing a number of items.
Other businesses broken into include ones on Wakaden Street, Railway Street, McKay Avenue and Kooyoo Street.
The crime scenes are currently being forensically examined.
In other news, police are currently on the look out for white 2003 Mercedes Vito Light good vans after a pursuit on Friday night.
The van was clocked driving past a stationary police speed checker at 125 kilometres and hour in Widgelli at around 11.50pm.
The van failed to stop when police turned on their sirens, and the chase continued for 18 minutes, including through the Yenda town centre, before police stopped.
If you have any information about these crimes call Griffith Police Station on 6969 4299 or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
