Police are investigating after being called to a break and enter at the Griffith City Cinemas on Sunday morning.

Griffith police's crime coordinator Sergeant Cherie Knox said police observed extensive damage to the front doors of the complex upon arrival.
CCTV footage captured two persons of interest attempting to access the location around 1.45am on Sunday morning before entering a vehicle and reversing through the front doors of the building.
The persons of interest then entered the building and forced their way into the offices and kitchen of the cinemas.
Sergeant Knox said forensic officers have attended the scene and investigations are continuing into the incident.

In other police news, Operation Chrome ran over November 28 and 29, with 30 officers from the Murrumbidgee Police District arresting 11 people for a range of offences including driving while disqualified and driving under the influence.
More than 800 random breath tests and 30 random drug tests were administered over the two-day operation, with notices also issued for unsafe vehicles and seat belt offences.
