Christmas can really heighten grief for those missing their loved ones, and the chance to remember them is now available at Griffith City Library.
Griffith's Local Health Advisory Committee chairwoman Margaret King explained that you can write a message to put on a Christmas tree set up in the library.
"At the end of the month we will burn the tags and spread the ashes in memory of these loved ones somewhere nice," she said.

"This will be annual event which is a great outcome."
There are also resources available on coping with the Christmas season for people who are bereaved.
She was excited to announce LHAC will also be launching a booklet to support carers in the new year.
