Over the October 26-27 weekend, St Patrick's Catholic Primary School had four teams compete in the NSW Catholic Primary Schools (CPS) Basketball Challenge in Albury.

Twenty Five schools from around the state completed in the challenge. There was an opening liturgy held at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre, at 7am, on Saturday morning.
All senior games were played at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre and PCYC in Albury and all junior games were played at the Wodonga Leisure Centre in Wodonga.
St. Patrick's entered a team in each of the junior and senior boys and girls sections.
The junior boys and girls both won all games on the Saturday.
The junior boys were ranked second out of all the teams on Saturday which was an amazing achievement.
The boys and the girls junior teams qualified for Division 1, making for an extremely high level of competition.
Both teams qualified through to the semi-finals losing to Sydney teams.
The Junior boys were coached by Mr Andrew Salvestrin and the Junior girls by Mrs. Kate Beltrame & Mrs. Sarah McNichol.
The senior boys and girls won two out of three games on Saturday.
The senior boys finished runners-up in Division 3, coming home with a silver medal.
The senior girls were the champion team of Division 2, coming home with a gold medal. The Senior boys were coached by Mrs Karen Collins and the Senior girls by Mrs Lisa Quinn.
