Memorial Park will be filled with activities for the whole family, with a jumping castle and face painting for the children, while adults can take in the entertainment and refreshments on offer.
However, the centrepiece of the event will be official lighting of the Christmas tree in the park by Griffith mayor John Dal Broi, with the lighting expected to take place around 8pm.
Rotary Club's community officer Paul Condon said the event aims to draw everyone together and help celebrate the start of the Christmas period.
"This [Christmas] is what it's all about," Mr Condon said.
"It's a good family fun night, that's what we work on... everything we raise [from the event] goes back into the community."

The event, which has become a long-standing Christmas tradition in the city, will see an increased use of the stage at the park, with whispers of a visit from Santa Claus also on the agenda.
Mr Condon said he was hopeful the community would continue to back the event and said he was "very happy" with Griffith City Council's work helping get the event off the ground for 2019.
Festivities will kick off at 5.30pm.
