Speaking as a concerned resident, Dino Zappacosta says now is the time to stand up for our farmers, our business, our workers, by joining the Convoy To Canberra, working to #cantheplan.
The Griffith City Councillor and 'Build More Dams' committee president said there may not be another chance as good as this to show politicians from all parties that "enough is enough."
"People are frustrated. Go to Canberra and show the politicians that water is hurting you," he implored.
"Many people have tried, there have been many meetings of MDBA advisory committees coming around and they all want to hear what is the problem.
You are not pandering or appealing to the Labor, Liberal, but to all of them. Irrespective of your own political persuasions, now is the time to forget your politics.
- Dino Zappacosta
"But in my opinion, the best thing is - tell them yourself.
"There will be politicians from all parties there. You are not pandering or appealing to the Labor, Liberal, but to all of them. Irrespective of your own political persuasions, now is the time to forget your politics.
"This is a matter of life, or whether Griffith becomes deserted."
He said show up on their doorstep, and tell them to their face. Don't be silent any more.
"Petitions work to a certain extent. Letters work to a certain extent. Emails work to a certain extent. But they will be facing a multitude of people. We will show them our people power."
Mr Zappacosta will be heading to the capital city on the free bus provided by the Griffith Business Chamber, who have been strongly activating for absolutely everyone to come.
