Final event of Griffith's Local Health Advisory Committee's Compassionate Communities
Christmas can be difficult time of year for people who have lost a loved one and the Griffith LHAC's Compassionate Communities project aims to help people with their Christmas Tree of Remembrance event. It will be held at the library from midday until 1pm on Friday.

Community exhibition of local artists
The Mother Love exhibition will explore ideas and themes the name evokes from maternity, nurture and guidance. The exhibition closes on Saturday.

Classic cars converge on the Southside Leagues Club
The Expatriates Auto Club host Coffee and Cars from 10am on Saturday. As well as sweet wheels at the Southside League Club, there will be coffee, cake, bacon and egg rolls plus market stalls.

Train Tours of Bagtown begin at 11am on Sunday
For those eager to learn about the city's origins, guided tours around Pioneer Park Museum with the museum's curator will run through the day. Entry is $17 for adults, $13 for children, $30 for family plus a train ticket.

Town to celebrate start of Christmas season on Sunday
Yenda Memorial Park will fill up with family and friends as they prepare for Christmas carols by candlelight from 5.30pm on Sunday.

Griffith Rotary's markets open from 7am until midday on Sunday. Stallholders will have everything from fruit and veg to home-made garden furniture.
