Hanwood were on the back foot as Jordan Whitworth (2) fell to the bowling of Daniel Dossetor (1/16) while Kym Wheeler followed up with the wicket of Jack Rowston (5) soon after.
Zac Ruediger and Dean Catanzariti looked to rebuild their innings; however, Wheeler (2/20) put an end to the partnership with the wicket of Ruediger (15).
Catanzariti (85*) continued to push forward while Trevor Cowie (31*) was able to help Catanzariti get the Hanwood side to a defendable total with a 78-run stand to see Hanwood close out their 40 overs on 4/161.
The top order for Diggers all got starts with Mick Duncan (62) leading the way however, the bowling of Catanzariti swung the game in Hanwood's favour.
Catanzariti (6/34) took six wickets in eight overs to see Diggers lose 9/37 to be bowled out for 125 and give Hanwood a 36-run win.
Leagues were able to pick up their first win in two weeks with a nine-run victory over Exies Eagles.
Teao Woetai (45) and Teei Piawi (9) put on 51 for the first wicket but the rest of the top order struggled to make an impact as Jimmy Nancarrow (1/18) and Cameron Harrison (4/17) doing the damage and while Babar Safdar (22) added late runs to see Leagues bowled out for 113 in 36.5 overs.
Shae Prudham (2/16), Piawi (2/7) and Safdar (2/22) did the early damage before Bradyn Challis lead a fightback.
Challis (41) was closing in on fifty before he was dismissed by Liam Warren (1/16) before Lyle Campbell (13) and Nancarrow (26) tried to get their side over the line but when the pair fell their team was unable to continue their momentum and fell nine runs short of victory.
In the top of the table clash between Coro and Coleambally, it was the Cougars who came out on top.
Avinash Gurram (43) was the top scorer for the Nomads with Andrew Potter (4/22) doing the damage for the Cougars as Coleambally bowled out for 119 in the 30th over.
Angus Kennedy (25*), Matt Signor (24), Kyle Bennett (19) and Jake Rand (16) led the Cougars to a three-wicket win with 11.2 overs remaining.
