The first grade side made the finals for the first time in a number of season and Morriss is hoping to continue the great work into 2020.
"The initial talks I had with the club was that it was going to be a three-year job to get the club where it needed to be," he said.
"We have made some good steps in the last two seasons, so hopefully we can see it pay off in my third year at the club."
Morriss said the strength of the club heading into the next season will be the talented youth coming through the lower grades.
"With the young blokes coming through I think we have the talent to fill any holes that may pop up," he said.
"Bryn Francis will be one who will be pushing for a first-grade spot this season while there are a few other younger boys who will be keeping the pressure on the first graders as well."
Morriss will welcome onboard Sai Ahomana as an assistant and is looking forward to having his experience to draw on.
"He is a great guy to have onboard," he said.
"He leads the side on the field, and this is a great chance to give him some experience at a coaching level because I think he will make a great coach."
The coach is also looking for the senior players in Mitch White and Daniel Bozic to take up leadership roles.
Meanwhile, after leading the third-grade side to success last season, Justin James will take charge of the second-grade side while Tinomana Kaue will look after the third-grade team with assistance from Chris McGregor.
Sam Loaloadravu will remain in charge of the women's side after leading them to success in 2019.
