Ventriloquist David Strassman returns
International star, comedian David Strassman brings his new show to the Griffith Regional Theatre on November 15. The show will be a celebration of food, mostly chocolate. Doors open at 7pm with tickets starting from $49.
PREMIAIR V8S IN CONCERT
Performance to raise money for Griffith City Band
The Griffith City Band is hoping to create a new annual tradition for the city as they host a fundraising concert on Saturday. Woodside Hall is set to be filled with the sound of music as guests enjoy a three-course dinner. Sydney band PremiAir V8s as well as local groups including Stickie Fingers and Murrumbidgee String Group. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for people under 18. Doors open at 6pm. SHAKESPEARE UNDER THE STARS
GRAPA prepare for their first rendition of classic play
William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream will be performed under the stars by GRAPA and it will feature a contemporary twist. There will be a run of five shows at the Bidgee Studio Gardens starting from Friday until November 23. Tickets are $35. Seating is available but guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets or picnic gear.

Sam Burley's family will host a thankyou event for the community
In 2017, Sam Burley was diagnosed with leukaemia and was taken to Sydney Children's Hospital, what followed was two long years of treatment. They Burleys say it wouldn't have been possible without the help of the Griffith community who supported the family. A thankyou event for Sam's 'Friend Army' will be held at the Coro Club on Saturday and to celebrate Sam's 15th birthday. The event starts at 4.30pm.
SIKH PROCESSION AND FIREWORKS
Sikhs will celebrate the 550th anniversary of religion's founder
On Saturday, Griffith residents have been invited to celebrate the anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji who founded the Sikh religion. Children's activities, music, presentations and food will be available in Memorial Park from 11.30am before a procession from the park to the Sikh Temple, where there will be more food, music and fireworks.

Fresh food, crafts and more at Griffith Showgrounds
Griffith Rotary's markets open from 7am until midday on Sunday. Stallholders will have everything from fruit and veg to home-made garden furniture.
MOTHER LOVE
Community exhibition of local artists
The Mother Love exhibition will explore ideas and themes the name evokes from maternity, nurture and guidance. The exhibition continues until November 30.
