Mr Torresan said his experiences with the service has helped to give him a strong desire to provide support.
"To be in the system you really understand what they do for children and their families," Mr Torresan said.
"I've got a strong connection to this drive because my son was diagnosed with a rare brain condition when he was born called Lissencephaly.
"After his diagnosis we spent 18 years backwards and forwards with Sydney... cause it's so close to the hospital, we were always going for treatments backwards and forward to the Ronald McDonald House."
This year, the drive will be aiming to collect smaller items to help provide support for families living in the house, with teaspoons, picture books and pillows all on the wish-list.
Mr Torresan said the community has continued to provide support each year for the drive and the support is appreciated by those who need it the most.
"People have been great, they've been donating a heap of stuff over the years," Mr Torresan said.
"All we are doing is carting down people's good deeds, their donations... to their front door.
"Some people are spending weeks or months there at a time for treatment."
