After winning the toss and electing to bat the Murrumbidgee side were able to make a strong start with Tom Davies (13) and Jake Scott (26) putting on 53 for the first wicket before both batsmen fell close to the drinks.
Hayden Forner and Alex Smith continued to keep the pressure on the CAW bowlers with a 64-run stand which pushed their side past the 100-mark before the fall of Forner (29) saw a quick flow of wickets.
Smith (26), Blake McDonald (3), Jake Rand (1) and Ben Signor (6) fell in quick succession to see Murrumbidgee lose 5/17.
Late runs from Brad Koetz (15) and Noah Gaske (15) saw the home side finish with a total of 176 when they were bowled out in the final over.
CAW made a strong start to get the score to 26 before Rand took the wicket of Eddy Schulthesis (7). Harry Kreuzberger (18), Oscar Lyons (29), Jordan Croker (33) and Archie Mason (17) led the way for CAW but when Crocker was dismissed by Hugh Jenkins (1/16) and Rand took the wicket of Mason trouble struck.
Signor (1/23) chipped in before Rand (4/15) cleaned up the remaining wickets to see Murrumbidgee take a 25-run win.
