Ravenous Italians came from far and wide to get a taste of local roasted pig on a spit, and by all accounts it was delizioso.
The festival has been going strong in Griffith for nearly fifty years and is a chance to savour the finer things in life: food, wine, and the company of friends and family.
Festa Della Porchett president Dino Zappacosta said the festival was a chance for Italians from Veneto, Calabrese, and Abruzzo regions to sit together and share a meal.
"We wanted to give everyone the opportunity to socialise, have a good time, and enjoy the fellowship," he said.
