With it being the final 40-over game before the season enters its first round of timed fixtures the Panthers will be looking to break their duck on their home track at West End Oval and head into the longer format with a bit of confidence.
Diggers will go into the clash wanting to make the most of Coro having the bye and have the ability to take top spot if they are able to take full points from the encounter with the Panthers.
The Diggers side are also unbeaten so far this season with two draws and a washout to start the season thanks to a strong start to the season from the skipper Theo Valeri.
The all-rounder has made a strong start with the bat scoring 117 runs in two innings while also taking three wickets with the ball as well as strong performances while on representative duty with the Murrumbidgee Rangers.
The slow bowling from Leon Vico has also been successful for the Diggers side as he sits second on the wicket-taking standings with seven wickets from his three games so far this season.
The forecast conditions are brighter than last weekend, so there is no concern of a second week of rain-affected cricket.
