An 85-year-old woman was injured after two cars crashed on Banna Avenue next to Memorial Park.
The crash happened at around 1pm on Wednesday when a parked car attempted to turn onto the main road, only to collide with another car being driven by the elderly woman.
The force of the collision left glass and plastic debris scattered across the road, attracting the attention of passersby who called emergency services to the scene.
Paramedics arrived shortly afterwards and tended to the elderly woman, who had injured her right hand but was otherwise unharmed.
The driver and passengers in the other car were left unharmed, however their car had been damaged.
Traffic east-bound on Banna Avenue was slowed down and delayed as the people were attended to by paramedics and the scene was cleaned up, however the road remains open.
