But knowing the carb-loaded delights spread down Banna Avenue is nothing for him, however for Ted E. Bare will have difficulty after just coming off a roller-coaster of dieting and binge eating.
"Griffith is awesome," Strassman enthused.
"It has always been an advanced rural town - it has best Italian food ever, and the theatre is just fantastic. The main street heads right to the theatre so really it's the centre of the town, I love it and the audiences are just fantastic."
The International comedy star will deliver his brand-new show The Chocolate Diet in Griffith on November 15.
It will tell all about Ted E. Bare's worsening problems, unable to get the support he needs, especially with the sneaky Chuck Wood leaving tempting donuts around.
Meanwhile Chuck has his own personal drama, a sneaking suspicion that he was carved into the wrong body.
With recent figures showing Griffith rating among the worst places in the state for obesity, Strassman said they could come along and not get lectured, but just enjoy a "really funny show".
"My show is really just a comedy show, with puppets and characters you all love. There is no lectures, no pointing fingers," he explained.
"Ted E. eats three to four kilos of chocolate a day, so he decides to quit, and ends up being so skinny it's hilarious. Then he ends up gaining weight, then coming back to normal."
Be prepared though, because there will be stacks of imagery of Tim Tams, chocolates, fried chicken, lamb roasts, chips, sausages (or bangers and mash) and burgers.
"It's really a celebration of food but at the same time we have to be careful... there's no big message."
From London to New York, Strassman's comic genius has shocked and surprised. Just Google and Youtube his name and you will see his immense body of comedy shows and twisted videos.

Yet with NSW getting the first taste of his new show, Griffith will be getting the jump on the rest of the world.
"This is a brand new show, so I literally debuted it four days ago... so Griffith will be amount the first get to see it."
Living a few hours away from Los Angeles, currently experiencing drought as well as bushfires, he says he can appreciate the current struggles felt by the region.
"We are also in a drought surrounded by bush fires... so I really understand," he said.
"This show is a great distraction from the pain of everyday life."
