Hoped to be the start of an annual tradition, a concert to raise funds for Griffith City Band has roped in both local talent and a special well-known act for a spectacular night of entertainment.

To be held at the Woodside Hall at Griffith Showgrounds, the inaugural fundraising concert is set to pool money to go towards a much-needed hall upgrade for the band.
Band member Toni Howard was thrilled to announce the main act to be none other than PemiAir V8s.
"Coming to us from Eastern Creek, the PremiAir V8s sweep you along with Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Dolly Parton and The Wiggles. Everyone is set to have so much fun!" she enthused.
Before their roof-raising performance, the PremiAir V8s will be teaching brass, woodwind and percussion workshops to students of all ages, to be held at Griffith East Public School from 9am to 12pm.
Griffith City Band and the newly formed Murrumbigdee String Group showcasing the talent of the budding string musicians.
Coming down from the mountains will be eclectic locals The Stickie Fingers, performing sets of country, rock and roll, and whatever else floats their boat on the night.

A three course dinner will be provided to keep everyone well fed while they enjoy the show.
Starting at 6pm on November 16, tickets will be $30 for adults and $15 for under 18s.
