Exies were lead well by Dan Brady who got past the 40-mark before he became the first victim to fall to the bowling of Liam Warren when he was caught behind.
Warren (6/45) would prove to be the thorn in Exies side as he removed Exies middle order to see them bowled out for 132.
Leagues were able to make a strong start with Teao Woetai and Karamveer Brar putting on 47 for the first wicket before Brar (12) fell to the bowling of Gavin Woods (1/27) while Woetai (41) followed closely behind when he became the first of Jimmy Mann's wickets.
Teei Piawi (24) was able to keep the scoreboard ticking over however, the bowling of Mann (4/24) put pressure on the Leagues middle order.
Babar Safdar (25) and Vilishkumar Patel (14) were able to make vital contributions to see the Panthers pick up a three-wicket win with 8.4 overs remaining.
The Coro Cougars were able to make a strong start to their season with a convincing win over Coleambally.
While the Nomads were able to make an early breakthrough with Sam Breed picking up the wicket of Andrew Potter (0), Jamie Bennett and Peter Taprell were able to get their side back on track.
The pair put on 41 before Taprell (23) fell to the bowling of Sanil Babu Chilikuri, but captain Justin Moat ensured there wouldn't be any momentum lost.
Bennett and Moat got their side past the 100-mark before Moat (21) was stumped off the bowling of Phil Turtle (1/17) while Bennett (57) posted a half-century before being caught off the bowling of Breed (2/32).
The remaining Coro batsmen weren't able to get starts with Chilikuri (3/22) doing the damage to see the Cougars bowled out for 136.
It was a slow start of the Nomads which saw them slump to 4/25 with Mark Bennett (2/33) picking up two wickets before Turtle and Cooper Smith (15) were able to put together a partnership.
Even that was short-lived as when Turtle (12) fell and John Witherspoon dismissed Breed (0), it spelled the end for the Nomads.
They lost their remaining five wickets for just 18 runs to see the Cougars come away with a 75 runs win.
In the final game of the round, Diggers were able to pick up a win against Hanwood.
It was a tough start for the Diggers side with Grant McMaster (4) falling to the bowling of Zac Ruediger while Shannon Caughey (2/14) dismissed Leon Vico (0) and Dean Crack (1) to see Diggers fall to 2/22.
Mark Favell and Damien Browning got their side back on track with a 70-run stand before Favell (41) fell to the bowling of Inam Ullah (1/14).
Browning (71) kept the scoreboard ticking over, but no other Diggers batsmen were able to break double digits with Ruediger (4/11) and Neil Geltch (2/23) doing the damage as the Diggers side were bowled out for 134.
Not content with just performing with the bat, Browning (2/14) took two early wickets with the dismissals of Ruediger (3) and Caughey (0) while Leon Vico (2/20) picked up Geltch (11).
Luke Catanzariti and Trevor Cowie tried to get their side back on track with a 24-run stand before Favell (2/15) picked up the wickets of Cowie (12) and Sam Robinson (0).
Chris Barbagallo (20) joined Catanzariti as they looked to keep their side's hopes alive with a 48-run stand, but the dismissal of Catanzariti (39) spelled the end.
Hanwood lost their final four wickets for 17 runs to see Diggers take a 25-run win with D Shields (3/15) finishing the day with three wickets.
