Around 20 producers and growers from around the Farrer electorate and the MIA spent some time talking showing federal MPs and staff members what they had made.
Cooked quail, to rice, diary, citrus and wine plus beers brewed in Yenda was offered up during the two hour event on the grounds of Parliament House.
"It is a chance for MPs and staff from across the nation to relax at an informal gathering, and allows us to showcase exactly why we are regarded as the nation's most important foodbowl", Member for Farrer Sussan Ley said.
"I really want to thank each of the producers who took a day out of their extremely busy lives to make the trip to Canberra and support this event.

"The drought is biting hard for many in our agriculture sector, and the fair doubles as an opportunity to show the nation's decision-makers why ongoing support for the domestic production of food, wine and fibre is absolutely vital."
