After winning the toss and electing to bat the Eagles were able to make a strong start with Hayden Forner and Nate McGregor at the crease.
The opening pairing put on 50 before Forner (24) was dismissed by James Clarke, but the middle order of Arjun Kamboj (21), McGregor (19) and Ryan Bock (13) kept the scoreboard ticking over.
Clarke (3/30) took crucial wickets to stem the flow of runs while Sean Culgan (12) added to the scoreboard late to see Exies finish on 7/133 off their 20 overs.
It was a tough start for the Nomads with Clarke (2) falling to Jacob Testoni (1/5) while Kamboj (1/4) took the wicket of Nathan Hodgson (2) to see Coleambally on 2/8.
James Buchanan (42) was the only Nomad to get a start as the Nomads were bowled out for 70 to hand the Eagles a 63-run win.
In Diggers first game in the third-grade competition in a few seasons, they fell to a defeat at the hands of Leagues.
Krish Chaudhary (31) and Ben Fattore (22) led the way for the Diggers while Michael Cudmore (2/8) was the pick of the bowlers for Leagues as they restricted Diggers to 89 off their 20 overs.
The Panthers lost an early wicket with Nobeljit Kalsi (5) to the bowling of Fattore (1/8) but found their feet.
Ryan Minato and Cudmore got their side on track before Minato (17) was run out by Prince Patel, and Sam Payne (8) followed closely behind when he was dismissed by Dhruvil Patel (1/23). Cudmore (36*) and Noah Gaske (12*) were able to steer their side to a seven-wicket win.
In the match of the round, there was little to separate Coro and Hanwood as the result was up in the air until the final delivery.
The Cougars were able to make a strong start with Ben Signor, and Harrison Steele at the top of the order putting on 30 for the first wicket before Signor (17) fell to the bowling of Gulfam Ahmed (1/10), but Kyle Bennett picked up where Signor left off.
Steele (50 ret) was forced to retire while Kyle Bennett (24), Jake Rand (0), Mark Bennett (0) and Ben Wood (0) fell in quick succession.
Luke DeMamiel (2/3) and Max Goirigolzarri (2/9) while Bohdy Martin (17) added vital runs to see Coro finish on 129.
Jordan Whitworth (34), Oliver Bartter (23) and Tom Bartter (37*) gave their side a chance as they headed into the final over needing 12 runs for victory.
The final over started well with Tom Bartter scoring seven runs off the first three balls, but a run-out turned the momentum. The Hanwood side went into the final ball needing three runs to win but wasn't able to find the gap with Coro taking a one-run win.
