Adrian Smith fired 78 off the stick and birdied the 8th to win A Grade on 70 nett ahead of Dean Minato, 71 nett. Ian Arstall 70 nett won B Grade with Mick Aventi, 72 nett, second on a countback.

Byron James, 69 nett, was best in C Grade from Jack Draskovic, 71 nett. Smith won both Pro Pins.
Par Threes: 4th Byron James, 7th Travis Millis, 11th Mick Aventi, 16th Ian Arstall. Jason Magoci had an eagle three on the 17th. Vouchers to 74 nett.
A single stableford with 40 players was played on Sunday. Peter Henderson, 39 points, won A Grade; Jason Magoci, 37 points, was runner-up. Lama Lolotonga, 36 points, won B Grade on a countback over Greg Smith, 36 points. Wayne Salvestro, 44 points, easily won C Grade; Andrew Mott, 37 points, was runner-up. Graeme Richens won the 7th pin, Salvestro 16th. Vouchers to 33 points.
Another single stableford was played last Wednesday. Gerry Cox, 38 points, won A Grade; Neil Mahaffey, 33 points the runner-up. John Bortolazzo, 35 points, was best in B Grade; Dom Guglielmino, 34 points, was second. Stephen Lightfoot, 38 points, was C Grade's best on a countback over Keith Woodbridge, 38 points.
Andrew Noad won the 11th pin, Travis Payne 8th. Vouchers to 32 points.
A single stableford in two grades was played on Labour Day Monday. Bryan Trembath, 40 points, won 0-18 Grade from Jeff Wiscombe, 39 points. Steve Crowe, 41 points, won 19-36 Grade; Steve Lightfoot, 38 points, the runner-up. Vouchers to 34 points.
The veterans played a two-grade single stableford last Thursday. Gerry Cox, 34 points, won 0-18 Grade; Roy Catanzariti, 32 points, was second on a countback. The 19-36 Grade won by Peter Den Houting, 35 points, from Lindsay Martin, 34 points. John F. Gale won the 7th pin, Joe Cudmore 16th. Vouchers to 32 points.
This week's event is a single stableford with a mystery 4BBB in conjunction.
There will be a working bee on Friday, October 18 to help prepare the course for the Veterans Week of Golf, to meet 10.10am at the clubhouse.
The Week of Golf will start with the usual meet and greet barbecue on Sunday, October 20 at 5pm. Help is still required with starting etc. Names on a sheet on the noticeboard.
The club is hosting a pasta and social night next Wednesday, October 27. Cost includes meal, one drink and music and entertainment. Limited entries.
