Sweet sounds and chill vibes will be emanating from Memorial Park in Griffith on Friday, October 25 when a collection of young musicians will take to the street for the Murrumbidgee Youth Xtreem Arts Festival - MY FEST.

Griffith will rock with the sounds of the Riverina's hottest young artists, as well as a few visiting guest performers, including an incredible fire-breathing parkour acro performance by Xcite and DMC (Dauntless Movement Crew), as part of the free all-ages outdoor concert from 5pm to 9.30pm.
With live music, a freaky fire show, food and drinks, music production workshop and art activities, there's no better place to chill out and get your groove on.
MY FEST committee member Ben Ceccato said the event was about showcasing young, local talent in a relaxed festival atmosphere.
"There is a huge amount of talent in the region and we have a great lineup of fantastic young vocalists and musicians from across the Riverina performing at this fun, inclusive festival," Ben said.
"There's a whole range of music styles, but it's all fresh and funky and will have you tapping your toes and getting into the groove."
The MY FEST local line-up includes Triple J Unearthed sensation Harry Catanzariti; hip-hop artist AKIB, who is returning from Melbourne with his crew; Koori rapper Dwayne Broome; Little Big Band Jazz ensemble and Grassroots open mic winners Harriet Kelly (Hillston), Zac Spalding (Albury) and Madz (Condobolin).
To add to the atmosphere, video artist Jason Richardson will light up a building with his dazzling projections that will respond to the fabulous sounds emanating from the brand new stage.
The night will finish with a heart stopping, explosive fire show with incredible stunts, dance and acrobatic feats, as well as exhilarating pyrotechnics, courtesy of hardcore parkour outfit DMC and XCITE entertainment complete with a rock-out soundtrack.
There will be no need to go hungry with the Hit FM coffee van, Alaina's kitchen, Tato Tornado and Direct Injection Donuts and Ting's Bubble Tea!
Free activities include a music production workshop where you can lay down some cool beats with Dwayne, the Hit FM pop-up party with donuts, giant games and giveaways, and the MY FEST chill-out chai tent, as well as art stalls and free arts activities.
There will also be free parkour, BMX and skate workshops at the skate park on Saturday, October 26 from 10am.
MYFEST is presented by Griffith Regional Theatre with the assistance of the NSW Government through the Create NSW Music Now program.
