Griffith Demons' coach Caroline Snow is particularly excited to see how her side fares in the match-up.
"It'll be a tough weekend because we have a few players away, but we're all looking forward to it," Snow explained.
"The girls might struggle from a lack of experience and numbers, but that just gives the new girls an opportunity to shine."
Caroline has been coaching for around 40 years now, and still remains excited to see how each local derby plays out.
It will be a busy weekend for the Griffith side who will back up on Saturday for the grand final rematch where they will take on West Wyalong.
This year could see any team lift the title, as an abundance of new players tie their laces and take to the court.
