Ancient dance-moves passed down through family lines will on display at Griffin Plaza, where they will be holding the first Multicultural Festival Week in Griffith's history.

During the week of October 14 to 18 students will be performing a diverse range of cultural dances at the plaza every day from 12pm to 1pm.
Each day from Monday to Friday there'll be a different school performance, all culminating in the Griffith Multicultural Festival which will be held on October 19.

Elizabeth Faiazi and Ma'ata Alai Lokeni are two of the first dancers who will be performing on Monday, and they'll be showcasing their best Tongan dancemoves while wearing traditionally handcrafted costumes.
On Monday there will be performances from Marian Catholic College and St Patrick's, on Tuesday it'll be Griffith North Public, on Wednesday Hanwood Public, on Thursday Griffith Public, and on Friday Murrumbidgee Regional High School.
