While Pascoe said the break was good, he is itching to get back out on the field.
"Can't wait to get back out there," he said.
"A break is always good, but I'm looking forward to Saturday."
The Cougars are looking in a strong position according to Pascoe with a number of younger players looking to make their mark on the first-grade side.
"We have a fair few younger boys coming up through the ranks now which is good for the club," he said.
"We have had two or three hits now, and numbers to training has been good."
Along with the juniors coming through, the Cougars have also welcomed Angus Boulton to the club after making a move from the Yanco Cricket Club.
The addition of Boulton to the side will give the Cougars another option with both bat and ball and brings representative experience having played with the Riverina side at last year's Country Cricket NSW Country Colts carnival.

- Coro's Haydn Pascoe
"I haven't seen too much of him, but I know he played for the Murrumbidgee Rangers side last season," he said.
Taking on Hanwood this weekend, Pascoe isn't taking them lightly knowing they have some talented youngsters coming through as well.
"I haven't heard too much about them, but I know they have a couple of younger players coming through from third grade," he said.
"They have been down at the bottom end of the ladder over the last couple so it would be good for the competition to see them back up towards the top."
The game was initially slated to be the first day-nighter of the season, but with the Swans presentation night being held on Saturday the sides reached an agreement to bring the game forward to start at 1pm on Exies No 1.
