After being selected in the Junior Matildas team to travel to Bishkek late last year for the qualifying stage of 2019 AFC U-16 Women's Championship, Jasnos said pulling on the green and gold for the first time was a big shock.
"I was just trying to keep focused and keep my head in the game," she said.
"I didn't know what was happening at that point."
Jasnos played a crucial role in the second round of qualifying held in Laos in March as she scored the goal which secured the Junior Matildas qualification to the main round which was held in Thailand.
Before heading back to Asia, Jasnos alongside her Junior Matildas teammates had a tour of the Pacific region in August which saw the side take on the under 19s national teams from Tonga, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands and the Griffith youngster said it was a great experience.
"It was a good learn opportunity," she said
"It got us to get used to the hot climate that we would face in Thailand, and we got to see how they lived their lives and how they train. It was an amazing experience."
In September, the Junior Matildas travelled to Thailand for the AFC under 16s Women's Championship looking to secure a place in next year's World Cup with a top-two finish.
In tough conditions, Jasnos felt the side gave it all they had as they came away with fourth.
"We all played as hard as we could,"
"Sometimes we didn't get the result that we wanted, but we pushed through it."
With playing football at the highest level, Jasnos felt that playing in front of crowds in the thousands took a bit of getting us to.
"Back home I use to play in crowds of like 30 people, and when we went over to Thailand there were crowds of thousands," she said.
"It was pretty unreal and didn't really expect that to happen. It was pretty breathtaking."
Over the course of the past 12 months, the young forward can definitely see improvements in her game.
"My crossing has improved a lot, and my shooting and confidence on the ball has improved," she said. "My ability to take on players in 1v1s has also improved."
