In their first game against Greater Southern Marlins, Murrumbidgee was able to set a target of 100 after a half-century from Shaun Smith. The Marlins had little trouble chasing down the total as they reached 102 inside 13 overs.
It was a better outing for the Murrumbidgee side in their second game which saw them pick up a win over ACT/SD Barons. The Murrumbidgee side finished their 20 overs on 2/130 and with some tight bowling were able to restrict the Barons to 4/111 to come away with a 19-run win.
Their clash with the ACT/SD Kings was another tough one as they were only able to reach 68 after 20 overs, but their bowling gave them a chance. Griffith's Meli Ranitu (1/2) picked up a wicket, but the Kings were still able to come away with a four-wicket win.
Their final two games saw defeats to Illawarra Highlanders and Central West with Ranitu picking up two run-outs against Illawarra while taking a wicket against Central West.
