Information sessions regarding the new design will commence on October 17, with community members able to view and comment on the design until December.
State Health Minister Brad Hazzard said the new hospital design will help to provide state-of-the-art health care to the area.
"The people of Griffith and surrounding communities will benefit from having all key clinical services under one roof in a new, purpose-built hospital that delivers modern, state-of-the-art health care," Mr Hazzard said.
The construction of a new Ambulatory Care Hub has been at the forefront of the early construction works for the redevelopment and a Health Infrastructure spokesperson said the redevelopment is "on track".
"The structural frame and roofing has been completed on this building and external cladding is underway," the spokesperson said.
"There will also be extensions to the Critical Care Unit and Inpatient wing.
"These works are forecast to be completed in 2020 with further early and enabling works packages to follow."
