Year 12 students have put the finishing touches on their masterpieces, their magnum opuses, their pièce de résistances - and have submitted them to the HSC judges for marking.
Marian Catholic College student Georgie Bourke has poured months of hard work into her Design and Technology major project, and has created a piece that she can be proud of.
She's hand-crafted an environmentally-friendly dress designed to tackle the problem of the dwindling bee population and its consequences for the ecosystem.
"To address that problem I decided to use the technique of bio-mimicry, using local produce and sustainable materials to combat the problems of the declining bee population," Miss Bourke said.
She's also created an extensive research project about the lifecycle of products and the damage they can wreak on bee populations and the environment.
It's a pressing issue in Griffith, where millions of bees have been killed by insecticides such as fipronil.

Meanwhile drama student Caitlin Chant has written and performed a monologue that covers themes such as depression and suicide, but also redemption and hope.
It's a confronting piece that pulls together elements from a variety of texts, but she's putting her own spin on it to create a monologue that is unique to her.
"I tend to go towards the darker themes, because I feel I can bring so much more to them," Miss Chant said.
Her monologue is the end-result of months of hard work and endless drafts and revisions, but Miss Chant said she's enjoyed Year 12 drama and the chance to express her creativity.
"It is very stressful, but it's also a good way to explore who you are as a person," Miss Chant said.
If you or anyone you know are suffering from depression or suicidal thoughts you can call the Griffith Suicide Prevention and Support Group on 1300 133 911 or Lifeline on 13 11 14.
