A spree of bike thefts last weekend have prompted police to warn owners: Lock it up, and mark it up.

On the weekend, five bikes were stolen from around Griffith.
Inspector Kim Traynor said there was a possible trend in bike theft, and urged residents to take precautions.
"There appears to be a trend of bike thefts in town, so we would encourage people to make sure they secure their bikes and similar items," Inspector Traynor said.
"Make sure to keep serial numbers recorded, and consider engraving the bike with details like diver's license numbers - it makes it easier to return."
- A Grey Repco mountain bike was stolen from a garage on Harward Road on Sunday night between 8 and 9pm, along with a green helmet.
- A black Trek mountain bike was taken from a unit car park in Kookora Street between 4pm on Friday and 6am Saturday.
- A black and green bike was also taken from the back of a business on Banna Lane on Sunday between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
- A Cannondale bike and a silver and black Giant were stolen from the back of a caravan, parked on Banna Avenue over night on Saturday.
