The midfielder was red carded in their win over Lake Albert in the major semi-final and will miss Sunday's grand final.
Coach Anthony Agresta doesn't know who will come into the side yet but with no avenue to appeal the ban he's just focusing on the task at hand.
"I don't know if the club is going to look to see if there is anything they can do about it but it is out of my hands at the moment," Agresta said.
"We just know he won't be playing on the weekend."
Hanwood already have star playmaker Andy Gamble suspended after a indiscretion while playing for Wagga City Wanderers.
Agresta admitted the loss of Musitano was another blow, but is confident that who comes in will step up to the mark.
"We've had a pretty big squad all year and even with reserve grade making the grand final as well we've got the chance to see what we come up with," he said. "He's going to be a big loss with his experience but we have to plug the hole somehow."
Dem Torino is an option to come back into the side following with a quadriceps injury but Agresta doesn't want to make a call until later in the week.
Lake Albert scored a 1-0 win over Henwood Park in the preliminary final to ensure their fourth consecutive grand final appearance.
There has been little between the top two sides throughout the season.
Goal difference was the only reason Hanwood finish on top of the ladder and they drew both regular season games before Hanwood edged out the Sharks two weeks ago to book the first grand final berth.
Agresta expects another tight contest.
"Like every time we've played them this year we know it is going to be a pretty good contest," he said.
"There has only been one goal that has split us.
"The one in the semi-final was the first time the game has been decided, the other two were draws, so it has been pretty tight and I don't expect this week will be any different."
