The event saw guests treated to an entertaining night which included a presentation into the disease by Macquarie University researcher Professor Gilles Guillemin, with former world champion boxer Jeff Fenech leading the event as the master of ceremonies.
A raffle was also ran which saw more than $15000 worth of prizes handed out to the lucky winners.
Organiser of the event Kylie Zanesco said she was pleased with how the night panned out and thanked the sponsors and community members who helped make the event possible.
"It couldn't have gone better," Mrs Zanesco said.
"Without them [the sponsors and those who attended], it wouldn't have been possible."
All funds raised by the event will be going to the Macquarie University MND Research Centre to help fund research into a cure for the disease.
