Neither side was able to break through for a majority of the encounter until the Tigers broke the deadlock with 15 minutes remaining in the match.
Minnietta Serafin was the scorer for Yenda, sliding a loose ball into the back of the net to hand the Tigers the lead.
The Tigers put the result beyond all doubt five minutes later with Emma Woolnough converting a powerful effort to secure the victory and the championship for the Tigers.
Yenda captain Angela Foscarini said Woolnough's strike allowed a huge sigh of relief for the side.
"It was a great win, pretty exciting," she said.
"When the second one went in it was like 'Yes!'
"We sorta came from behind [this season] and we got to the equal top and did it the hard way."

Yenda coach Robert Wood said the game was a tight affair but was proud of how the side performed.
"The entire game felt like a big giant game of chess," he said.
"It was very de-stressing to have that goal cushion to come in.
"I don't think anyone really expected us to make it as far as we did considering the way we started this season with a couple of losses."
Both sides finished level on points at the end of the inaugural season of the women's competition, with Yoogali Wanderers claiming top spot by virtue of their superior goal difference.
