The Rhinos fell behind to a goal just before halftime, and after the break, the Belconnen side was able to make it 2-0 just three minutes into the second half.
There was life in the Rhinos when Mason Donadel found the back of the net seeing his side just a goal down with 12 minutes remaining, Belconnen didn't waste time regaining their two-goal advantage with a goal just sixty seconds later to see United wrap up a 3-1 win.
This weekend will see the under 13s, and 14s start their finals campaign as they look to secure their place in the grand final.
The under 14s will take on a Canberra Olympic which sees them take on a side they have split the previous meeting with a win each while the under 13s will meet Belconnen United.
Both games will be played at Kaleen Enclosed in Canberra.
