It was a fast start for the Blueheelers with Julius Tulala getting over the line, but the Mallee Men were able to hit back soon after with Jaxon Lemon getting over out wide.
In an arm wrestle of a first half, there was little to separate the side with Tanielu Nauer making a strong break to give Yenda a 10-4 lead at the break.
It was a different story in the second half with Josh Richards and Moses Ioane both scoring within the first five minutes of play getting back underway to make it 22-4.
The Mallee Men were able to hit back with Mitchell Collins getting over the line to give his side a sniff of a comeback with the gap sitting at 12 points with 16 minutes remaining.
Those hopes were all but dashed when Jake Brand got over the line to make it an 18-point margin with 10 minutes remaining before Riley Piva wrapped up the Yenda sides success with a try next to the upright to take home a 24-point win.
