The whole town is champing at the bit in the lead up to the 2019 Terra Ag Griffith Cup on September 7.
Griffith Jockey Club vice president Renae Testoni said this year's races were already shaping up to be one of the popular ones yet, especially among the younger crowd.
"We've got so many social marquees booked this year, way more than we've had in the past," Ms Testoni said.
"We are trying to move into the younger demographic, so we're setting up a big selfie wall this year. No doubt that will create lots of fun and fanfare."
Ms Testoni has been helping to run the cup for many years, and she said each race just keeps getting bigger and livelier than the last.
It's been a big, red, circled day on the Griffith social calendar ever since it started, and this year's one will be no exception.
All eyes will be on this year's cup, which will be broadcast nationally on the television channel Sky One.
"Now that we're a Sky race, it's really upped the ante in terms of attracting better horses, better trainers, and better jockies," she said.
"We really are trying to put an event on that will be really amazing."
Up to 3000 people are expected to turn up to this year's cup, which will see the fabulous return of Fashions on the Field.
This year there will be seven categories: boys and girls 11 years and under, boys and girls 12 to 17 years old, couples 18 years and older, men over 18, women over 18, Women aged 18 to 39, and Women over 40.
"We have such amazing stylish fashionable people in Griffith, Fashions on the Fields gets bigger and bigger each years and it's wonderful to see," Ms Testoni said.
Gates will open at 11.30am, and races will be starting a little earlier this year, with the first one starting at 1pm.
There will be free buses leaving regularly from Griffith Visitors Centre between 11.15am to 1.30pm on the day.
Return buses will be leaving from Dalton Park Racecourse from 4pm onwards.
Presale tickets are available at Speirs Jewelers.
