For most of the children it was their very first time performing publicly, but they managed to blow away the judges with their rendition of "God's love is...", which scored 90 points.
Not only did the choir seize first place, they also earned two Highly Commended certificates, a personal commendation from the adjudicator, and thunderous applause from the audience.
It was the result of a lot of hard work for the 53 children, who gave up their precious, precious lunchtimes to hone their singing voices in preparation for the big day.

Children from Kindergarten, Year 1, and Year 2 had been rehearsing since Term 2, and you can really tell from the quality of their singing.
St Patrick's choir coordinator Bambi Cunningham said all that hard work and determination had paid off in spades.
"You could tell from the students' smiles that they were very pleased with their performance," Mrs Cunningham said.
"The kids had so much fun, and they were very excited to go on a bus and travel to Leeton."
It was the first choir group the school had assembled in several years, and Mrs Cunningham is hoping to make the choir a regular feature.
"It's my ambition to get the choir up and running again," she said.
After coming back from the Eisteddfod the children celebrated their success by throwing a party, where they ate mandarins and lollies.
