FOOD PRODUCTION SHOULD BE PRIORITY
The resistance of a Royal Commission into water is based on the notion that we will get a worse deal. That, just like the South Australia Royal Commission found, the environment needs more water.

The concern is under a Labor/Greens government, the findings of a royal commission will be used to justify more water buybacks and more water for the environment.
Yet while our political system bases it's position on fear, our region is watching rivers running at full capacity past our town and at the same time farmers have no water.
We are also facing a second summer without water.
So I ask you, how much more damaging can a Royal Commission be? We currently have nothing.
Royal commission or not, what our nation needs is for all members of state and federal government to make sure food security and irrigation supplies are once again a national priority.
Of course, growing the food our nation consumes takes water from the environment.
Let's us get on with the job of producing it.

STAYING ACTIVE HELPS HEALTH
I was in Griffith and Wagga hospitals for 19 days. Dr Rude a famous doctor took a special interest in me because I was a teacher (lecturer) in India. My son said that I do Yoga and morning walk whether it is rain or sunshine and I eat a very little food.
Dr Rude replied "these are good things he does. All our problems are due to the genes and parents I have a body just like mum. So all the problems are those my mum had."

GOVERNMENTS NEED TO ALLOW RIGHT TO LIFE
In The Daily Telegraph, August 12, the gloating victory photo of those members of parliament who supported the abortion bill, shame on them.
It is time to bring back the death penalty when it comes to murder for anyone, the death penalty for murder was abolished in 1955 and to today the NSW state government has the hide to bring in a bill for murder for the unborn child in a mother's womb, at 22 weeks and over.
The bill has allowed gender selective abortion for being a female and an amendment that provides medical care to babies that somehow survived the abortion such was voted down.
When a baby born alive who needs medical help, if left to die and that is murder.
Governments are elected to serve the people and allow the right to life.
We have people protesting when it comes to animal cruelty, invading farmers farms, live sheep and cattle trade, the timber industry and climate change which has been around since time began and governments cannot control the weather but they do control our lives.
What has gone wrong with today's society?

COSTS SHOULD BE CAPPED
In response to the number of councilors attending the Sydney conference in October 19, I'll not hesitate that any number may want to go as long as the cost is capped to $2,520 shared between all numbers and excluding the extra costs of airfares, meals, transport, etc.
