With a top-three spot secured the Griffith Swans won't be taking any chances when they travel across to Robertson Oval on Sunday to take on top of the table Wagga Tigers.
Swans coach Will Griggs said the Swans wouldn't be pushing anyone who was carrying any sort of knock to playing on Saturday afternoon knowing the quality running around in the lower grades.
"It is yet to be determined if we will but this weekend is a great chance to rest some of the blokes carrying small knocks this weekend," he said.
"We have already locked up a top-three finish and will be playing Wagga Tigers or Coolamon next week, and there is no point pushing a bloke who isn't at 100 per cent.
"Whoever we have brought in whether it has been from the twos or the under 17s they have been able to come up and make an impact."
The Swans coach said Mick Duncan is one of those who is likely to be rested while Heath Northey may also sit out the clash with the Tigers.
The Griffith side has a clean bill of health at the moment and will be hoping to carry that forward into the final.
"It's no secret that we were missing so key players against Ganmain and it showed," he said.
"Baring anyone going down this weekend with injuries we should be heading into finals at full strength."
Griggs is hoping that the result over Mangoplah last weekend is the side starting to find their rhythm which has been a struggle in the second half of the season.
"It has been up and down and has struggled for a bit of consistency," he said.
"Whether it has been because of the changes that have come into the team, we can't really put it down to just one thing.
"Based on last week's performance, we are hoping that we have turned a corner."
The first-grade clash between first and third will get underway at around 2.10pm on Saturday afternoon at Robertson Oval.
