The Royal Australian Mint will be in Griffith on Wednesday as part of a travelling roadshow where the community will be able to take part in the minting experience.

The Bold, the Bad and the Ugly Roadshow pop-up shop will operate at Griffith Central from 9am to 5pm on Wednesday and is one stop on a nationwide tour recognising the significance and lasting impact of Australia's bushranging history.

Members of the public will be allowed to strike an exclusive counter stamp onto a special uncirculated coin produced by the Mint which commemorates Australia's colonial bushrangers, as well as swap coins and cash for freshly minted special coins.
The visit is the last stop on the current leg of the tour, which has previously visited Wagga Wagga, Shepparton, Geelong, Melbourne and Bendigo.
