The changes to the policy comes after certain "inconsistencies" were brought to the attention to council.
The policy changes are intended to fix the inconsistencies and clear up ambiguities by setting up clearer boundaries of where frost fans can and can't be set up.

The changes also come in response to noise complaints from residents who'd had frost fans set up near their houses.
Several residents near Myall Park almond farms had sent in complaints about the noise pollution caused by the frost fans.
The revised draft policy will be up for public exhibition at council chambers and on council's website.
If any submissions are sent in a further report will be written up, but otherwise the draft policy will be put before council as-is.
