Off the back of a repeat set the Black and Whites capitalised on the field position with Lily-Belle Misiloi getting over with nine minutes gone in the first half to give her side a 6-0 advantage.
Misiloi turned to provider as the Black and Whites extended their lead with Misiloi making a 30-metre break before passing the ball off to Bianca Sutton who won the foot race with Leeton's Ua Ravu to score under the post which saw the Panthers leading 12-0 at the break.
Will 11 minutes remaining the Black and Whites wrapped up the qualifying final with Beyonce Marela touching down in the corner to score a try on debut and send her side through to the major semi-final.
Panthers coach Shailyn Williams was pleased of the defensive effort from her side.
"I think defence today was the key," she said.
"We have had two weeks off, so I wasn't sure how we were going to handle it, but the girls really stepped up.
"Defence in any kind of football is important, and you can't win any games without defence, and I was really impressed with that today."
The Black and Whites now face the minor premiers Yanco-Wamoon and Williams knows her side face a tough test.
"They got minor premiers for a reason," she said.
"They won't be an easy team, and each time we have played them, it has been close. They are a team that keeps going until the final buzzer, so we know we will have to defend well and stay on our toes."
Leeton will have a second chance this weekend when they take on West Wyalong after they picked up an 18-10 win over Yenda in the elimination final.
Caitlin Kelly got the scoring underway for the Mallee Chicks before Yenda pulled level when Ellen Frost pounced on a kick from Meps Laweloa to see the sides level at 4-all at the break.
Three unanswered second-half tries to the West Wyalong put them in the driver's seat with Kady Amarant and Olivia Nicholson getting over while Kelly scored her second try of the day to see them race out to an 18-4 lead.
Yenda was able to get a late consolation try with Frost scoring her second try of the afternoon, but as the hooter sounded, it was the Mallee Chicks who kept their season alive with an 18-10 win.
West Wyalong will take on Leeton in the League Tag on Saturday in Darlington Point at the earlier time of 10.30am while Yanco-Wamoon and the Black and Whites will do battle for a grand final spot at Exies Oval on Sunday with the kick-off 12.40pm.
