The Mallee Men have sent a message to the other two remaining teams that they will be tough to stop after picking up a 26-0 win over Yanco-Wamoon.
Co-coach Jake Goodwin felt the scoreline was one of the more pleasing things to take out of the game.
"The nil scoreline was probably the biggest positive we can take from the game," he said.
"They were missing their starting front-rower (Troy Preston) which was a big factor for them, and that helped us slow them down even more.
"We talked about laying on them (To slow the play the ball), and we were able to do that, and it went a long way for us."
With seven minutes gone West Wyalong was able to make an impact on the scoreboard with Jeremy Wood making a strong break to score the opener.
The Hawks created the next best chance with Shannon Bradbrook going close, but he went into touch before getting the ball down while a forward pass denied the Mallee Men.
With seven minutes left in the first half, the Mallee Men were able to get a roll on with Lou Goodwin crossing for two quick tries to see them race out to an 18-0 lead when the halftime siren sounded.
Issues were compounded for the Hawks as they lost Shannon Bradbrook to a shoulder injury and with 25 minutes left in the game, West Wyalong all but secured their progression to the major semi-final with Andrew Preston getting over in the corner.
The injury toll continued to mount for the Hawks with Soqoni Saurara taken from the field with an ankle injury leaving the Hawks to play the remained of the game with just one interchange with Josh Higgins also resting an ankle knock.
The Mallee Men still had one try left in them and with 12 minutes left Derryn Clayton secured their passage to take on Waratahs with a 26-0 victory.
Goodwin was pleased to see his side put in a full 80-minute effort.
"We have been trying to find and 80-minute performance all season," he said.
"When we were out there, we didn't want to change anything."
