A difficult season for the Riverina Rhinos has come to a close with a 2-1 loss to Tuggeranong United at Solar Mad Stadium.

The Rhinos were able to create the better of the chances in the early stages of the game but fell behind after the visiting side were able to find the back of the net from a set piece to trail 1-0 at the break.
The Rhinos were able to hit back just pass the hour mark. Conor Earley was able to play a chipped through ball over the top of the Tuggeranong defence with Keith Jackson getting on the end of the pass and then placing the ball though the legs of the keeper.
Unfortunately for the Rhinos, United were able to retake the lead after scoring from a free kick with 12 minutes left.
The difficult season was compounded by the loss of the three points picked up from the win over Belconnen United after being found guilty of breaching regulations relating to eligible player.
The result is now a 3-0 forfeit in favour of Belconnen while the Rhinos have also been fined
