West Wyalong was on the outside of the top five and needed to pick up a win over Tullibigeal Lake Cargelligo if they were to make a finals appearance, and after 13 minutes Bree Clair Franklin opened the scoring for the home side.
Laura Ridley extended West Wyalong's advantage just before halftime to see them leading 12-0 at the break.
Chelsea Wood scored just after the break before Olivia Nicholson wrapped up the game with 12 minutes remaining. The Sharks were able to get a consolation try with MacKenna Clarke getting over to see West Wyalong take 22-4 win.
With West Wyalong picking up the win, the Magpies needed to do the same as they were now behind on percentage and were able to make the start they needed with Luci Lugsdin getting over the line for Hay.
Yenda started to get a roll on with three tries including one each to Eliza Baddock and Tangi Matenga to see them leading 18-4.
Lugsdin was able to get her second of the day to reduce the gap with a try right on halftime to see Hay trailing by eight points at the break.
With under a minute gone in the second half, Matenga was able to score her second of the day, but Hay refused to give up on their season.
Delilah Crighton scored two late tries for the Magpies, but it was too little too late as Yenda crossed for one final try to take the points with a 28-18 victory.
Yanco-Wamoon were able to hold off a determined Leeton side to take a 26-12 win.
Leeton was able to make a fast start with Ua Ravu crashing over in the second minute before Hawks speedster Tess Staines scored her first of the day to bring the sides level.
Monique Higgins was able to take advantage of a penalty in front of the post to give her side a two-point lead before Bianca Smith crossed in the corner after back-to-back penalties gave the Hawks field position and a 12-6 lead at the break.
The Hawks were able to maintain their momentum in the early stages of the second half with Jenna Elliot scoring after pouncing on a crossfield kick from Higgins.
Leeton was able to give themselves a chance with Gabby McGregor scoring next to the post to reduce the margin to four points with 16 minutes remaining.
Emily Poole had other ideas and restored the lead for the Hawks after spotting a hole in the Leeton defence before Staines wrapped up the win with her second of the afternoon.
In the final game, Waratahs were able to send Takilele Katoa out a winner with a 20-0 win over DPC.
