Griffith police officers caught and arrested the man, who was charged for causing malicious damage.
He is due to face Griffith Local Court, but the exact date remains to be seen.
In other police news, a resident of McCormack Road in Yoogali returned home on Sunday only to discover their home had been ransacked.
Sometime between 3.30pm on Thursday and 1.40pm on Sunday burglers broke into the house and stole several expensive shoes, an iPhone, and some electronics.

Another house was broken into on Ross Crescent in Griffith between 8.30am and 5.20pm on Saturday.
After breaking into the house the thieves went through and ransacked several of the rooms.
Police are still on the lookout for the thieves, who remain at large.
