The Swans will be without prized midfielder Jordan Iudica for the showdown with the fourth-placed Lions, along with a number of other key players.
Iudica will miss due to a wedding, while Heath Northey (work), Alex Overs (hamstring) and Nathan Richards (injury) remain on the sidelines.
"We're very light on this week," Griffith coach Will Griggs said.
"We're still definitely going in for the win though."
Overs injured his hamstring in the loss to Coolamon two weeks ago and Griggs said they will not risk him until he is 100 per cent to return.
Richards has not played since the loss to Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes back in June.
Ben King was not named for Griffith either, virtually ruling him out for the Swans' finals campaign.
In positive news for the Swans, Lucas Conlan returns from playing with GWS Giants' NEAFL team.
