Two of De Bortoli's fortified wines, Black Noble and Show Liqueur Muscat, picked up gold medals in the 2019 Global Fortified Masters blind tasting competition held last month as part of a four medal haul for the winery.
Black Noble was further named as one of the ten best fortified wines from the event, one of two Australian wines to do so.
Senior De Bortoli winemaker Julie Mortlock said the award helps to increase the prestige of the Riverina region for wine-making.
"Black Noble's recognition as one of the best fortified wines in the world is another significant step in cementing De Bortoli Wines' and the Riverina region's reputation for producing innovative, premium quality wines," she said.
"We know how good Black Noble is and we're thrilled that it is receiving this level of recognition around the world."

The Global Fortified Masters competition judges wines from around the world and assesses them based on a number of factors, including price, taste and style.
The gold medal is the second highest accolade offered by the competition, with wines needing to score between 93 and 96 out of 100 to claim the award.
The other De Bortoli fortified wines to receive medals at the event were their 8 Year Old Fine Tawny and their Old Boys' 21 Year Old Barrel Aged Tawny, which both received silver medals.
